Inspired by the Golden Age

The design of the Cremona SV500 was influenced by the classic Italian models from the Golden Age period. This is especially clear when observing the handcarved Stradivarius arching on the top and back. By using the historic combination of a figured maple back with a solid spruce top, the SV500 is capable of producing a scintillating tone with plenty of focus and body. Unlike any other violin at this price, the SV500 boasts a stunning one-piece back. Often exclusively reserved for the most premium string instruments, the one-piece back truly is a wonder to behold. For an attractive appearance, the Cremona violin is finished with a lovely transparent red-brown varnish which is slightly shaded.

Similar to much more expensive violins, the SV500 has full long-lasting and durable ebony fittings. To make sure you can always easily tune your violin, the SV500's alloy tailpiece has four fine tuners. What's more, the SV500 comes with an Aubert bridge to enhance your tone.

Included accessories

Your new Cremona violin is supplied as an outfit, meaning it comes complete with everything you need to get started. The included oblong case is covered in a smart black material and is made from styrofoam to offer maximum protection. For an extra touch of class, the magnetic zip guard features an embossed Cremona logo. To ensure that you can carry all of your accessories, the outside of the case features a full-length pocket - perfect for your sheet music. You can carry the case either via the handles with a convenient velcro strap, or by the adjustable and detachable shoulder strap. For extra protection, the inside of the case is lined with a plush material that will cushion your instrument, and even includes a matching blanket. The inside of the case boasts three more accessory pockets, a hygrometer, and two bow holders.

The included J.LaSalle bow has been meticulously crafted to ensure you have a quality playing experience. Initially, the bulletwood bow stick is graded for quality and physical beauty, then tested for stiffness and resiliency. To ensure that the bow is perfectly balanced, each and every component is individually weighed before being constructed. Similar to more professional violin bows, the J.LaSalle bow uses unbleached natural white horsehair to produce the best possible sound. As finishing touches to the bow, the octagonal stick comes complete with a non-slip sheepskin cushioned wrap, half-mounted ebony frog with a Parisian eye, and a three-piece screw.
