The Bach TB502B trombone is perfect for musicians who need an instrument to take them up to a grade 5 standard. Featuring a .525'' medium bore, the TB502B is ideal for starters. Not only does this size of bore keep the weight of the instrument low, but it is also good for performing a variety of different genres including jazz, orchestral, and even solo works.
Similar to professional trombones, the Bach TB502B features an open wrap F attachment. This traditional style of attachment is popular with musicians as it produces a more open tone compared to a closed wrap attachment. All of these features come together to create the ideal instrument for beginners needing to upgrade their current trombone without paying a premium price tag.
Long lasting materials
To ensure your new trombone can keep up with day-to-day activities, Bach have exclusively chosen quality materials for the TB502B. To make sure your tone is always rounded and pleasant, the TB502B is made from yellow brass. Yellow brass is a common material that is frequently found on brass instruments of all shapes and sizes. This is mostly due to the versatile tone that it produces so well.
The inner slide on the TB502B is made from nickel silver which provides a bright and powerful sound to your performance. Nickel silver is used for many premium trombone slides because it's firmer and has greater corrosion resistance compared to standard brass. For a long-lasting appearance, the TB502B is finished with a bright clear lacquer to make sure the instrument look newer for longer.

There is also a dedicated compartment for any accessories, and a mouthpiece holder. The included Bach 6 1/2AL mouthpiece is a versatile mouthpiece that can play comfortably across the full range of the trombone.
