Traditional Hand Carved Construction
With traditional, hand carved construction and flamed
Maple back and sides, The Archer 14C-500 is an all solid wood
instrument, sporting a hand carved Canadian Spruce belly and
figured bookmatched Canadian Maple back.
At a quarter the size of a full size cello, this instrument is
identical in construction and range to the full size 4/4 cello - it
is simply scaled down for children and younger adults. For the
developing cellist, this means ease of playability and
rich tone.
Ebony Fingerboard For Ease Of Use
The Archer 14C-500 continues to build on its traditional roots
with a Maple neck. With its ebony fingerboard, progressing
players will be able to replicate deft fingering patterns and
experience the type of response to their touch that will encourage
them onto more innovative techniques.
Includes Bow, Rosin and Case
The cello comes with everything the beginner needs to get
playing straight away. The bow, made from hardwood, is easy to use
and robust, meaning it will withstand the stresses of students
learning proper bowing techniques. A half mounted frog and Ebony
adjuster make it easy to use and comfortable to hold.
The canvas covered case is easy to carry and provides reliable
protection for the instrument. Wheels on the bottom mean it can be
rolled around and shoulder straps mean it can be put on your back
with ease. Pockets both inside and out are handy to store the
included rosin and other accessories.

Press Reviews
"Well built and well presented, these instruments should
encourage those young cellists fortunate enough to play them. After
all, the better the initial experience a pupil has, the more likely
they are to succeed in the long term."
"The Archer model represents good value to either music
services or individuals looking for a solid wood
instrument."
Andrew Bound, ZONE Magazine
