Straightforward workflow
Using Time Factory II is a simple and straightforward process; drop files in, set the stretching or shifting amount, click process and you're done. Time Factory II offers the ability to enter the time stretching factor either as a new target duration in hours/minutes/seconds, a percentage of change in length, source and target BPM or FPS, the equivalent pitch transposition amount, or use samples fames as the unit for the new target length. Such a diverse range of stretching parameters lends to Time Factory II's established place as a comprehensive and industry-standard time processing tool. Whatever unit of measure you prefer or require, Time Factory II is able to offer its use in a straightforward manner.
Precision mathematics
The mathematics at use in Time Factory II boasts extremely high precision ensuring a high degree of timing accuracy and without the obvious artefacts that are associated with time stretching. Thus, you can perform frame rate conversion for film sound, change the tempo and or pitch of music tracks for production, design new sounds or slow down music for transcription with confidence that Time Factory II will consistently produce a result with unprecedented fidelity and timing precision.
Algorithmic flexibility
Zynaptiq has packaged Time Factory II with five industry-standard stretching algorithms; ZTX, quickStretch, MPEX 2, MPEX 3 and ClearScale. Each algorithm is distinct and has its own particularities, strengths, parameters and applications, and covers a comprehensive spectrum of requirements and uses, so depending on your preference, signal type and the intended outcome there is sure to be an algorithm in Time Factory II's powerful selection that works for you.
Comprehensive format compatibility
Zynaptic has produced a highly comprehensive application featuring a broad range of format compatibility with contemporary high-fidelity formats. Time Factory II supports phase-synced processing of mono, stereo and multichannel files up to 384kHz sample rate and all popular audio file types including broadcast formats with meta-data preservation. All of this can be processed on an arbitrary number of channels that push Time Factory II to be an ideal solution for frame rate conversion of cinematic and broadcast material.
Efficient processing
Time Factory II's industrial-grade batch processing engine is built to process audio files quickly and without obstruction; simply set your parameters and click process. For an even higher level of ease-of-access Zynaptiq has also implemented factory presets for common tasks such as PAL NTSC frame rate conversions, and even allows you to save your own custom settings. Because high-quality time stretching can take time Zynaptiq has condensed Time Factory II's simple and intuitive workflow to package this complex and intelligent audio processing tool into a practically automatic operation so that you can spend your time on other tasks.
