The iRig MIDI 2 is an ultra-portable MIDI interface, designed for musicians on the move. It is the first Lightning/USB compatible mobile MIDI interface that works universally. The universal compatibility means you can use the iRig MIDI 2 with an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android and Mac/PC.
The interface features three MIDI connections: In, Out and Thru. The interface is ideal for a range of applications from playing and recording MIDI keyboards, to incorporating external MIDI data from synthesizers. It is perfect for gigs, performances, studio work and even jam sessions. The Thru ports allows you to send MIDI data to numerous instruments simultaneously.
Compact and Ultra Portable Design
The compact and palm-sized interface is designed to be highly portable. The small yet robust design will fit into your pocket with ease, eliminating tedious larger equipment setups. When cables are not attached, the iRig MIDI 2 is made even smaller. The Mini-DIN connectors allows you to remove all the cables, ideal for transportation.
You can monitor your MIDI data with ease, thanks to the integrated LEDs. The dual LEDs providing visual indication of when note data is being passed through the In and Out ports.
Complete with Apps and Music Software
The iRig MIDI 2 comes complete with a comprehensive software and app bundle. Included in the bundle is: iGrand Piano FREE (iOS/Android), SampleTank FREE (iOS), iGrand Piano FREE (Android) and the desktop synth SampleTank 3 SE (Mac/PC).
SampleTank FREE bases its designed on the SampleTank desktop software. This streamlined workstation allows you to create sounds and grooves, complete with premium-grade instruments and patterns to get you started.
iGrand Piano FREE and iLectric Piano FREE are high-grade piano applications, providing stunning sound quality for both acoustic and electric pianos sounds
SampleTank 3 SE is desktop audio workstation, providing everything you need to create professional music tracks and sounds. SampleTank 3 SE includes a wide range of meticulously sampled sounds and faithful recreations of classic instruments.
iRig MIDI 2 is also compatible with a wide range of applications for IOS including GarageBand, Cubasis, Beat Maker 2, Auria and more.
