The Shure Beta 181 Preamplifier is a replacement part for the Beta 181 condenser microphone. If the preamplifier stage of your microphone stops working, this part is ideal and stops you from having to buy a whole new microphone. To use, simply slide in the alignment key of a compatible capsule to the preamplifier's groove and screw it in tightly.
Please note: this preamplifier is only compatible with Beta 181 Microphone capsules
