SDI - Professional video transmission

With the SDI connection you're ensured the quality of UHD, uncompressed digital audio and video transmission, and while you may also gain this from HDMI, the benefit with SDI is it travels well over much longer distances up to 400 meters and with the BNC connector your connection is always secure meaning added reliability in your set-up. Compatible with the Blackmagic Desktop Video SDK for Mac, Windows and Linux you can even create your own custom playback or recording solutions.

SDI 4K works with uncompressed and compressed video in open standard file formats such as QuickTime and DPX so they are compatible with virtually all professional editing, colour correction and visual effects software. Because of this, you can use DeckLink Duo 2 with software such as DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and more for processing.
