A perfect pairing. The combination of Custom V7 P-style and J-style bass pickups lets you explore a wealth of bass tones. With a smooth, beefy P-style pickup in the neck, your basslines will be rich and warm – perfect for blending in with the mix. And the J-style pickup in the bridge position offers a bright, crisp voicing with plenty of punch and articulation. Made from alnico V and being active, both pickups have plenty of output and bite, too, with virtually no unwanted noise. Whether you want a sweet, vintage voicing or a more modern, powerful tone, you can use these pickups to get exactly what you want.
Master the neck. Made from three-ply maple and mahogany, it shines with great playability and brilliant tone. The smooth surface allows your hand to access the entire fretboard with ease, and the three ply maple and mahogany wood add balance to this bass's tone for a superbly dynamic resonance. Sitting atop the neck is a rosewood fretboard, which offers you the ability to make smooth fret transitions. And it has a decent level of sustain. These features will get you playing smoothly and with precision for the best sonic results.
Total control. With an array of dials, consisting of Volume, Balance, three-band EQ, and an active/passive switch, you'll be able to further flavour to your basslines. And being able to switch between a passive and active voicing, you'll also get the best of both worlds when it comes to tone.
