The Jan Ray delivers a clear, punchy tone that was designed to recreate the iconic sound of 60’s Fender Blackface amps. Sometimes referred to as the "Fender Magic 6" sound, many musicians have praised the sound of these amps, particularly when set with the volume and treble at 6, the middle at 3, and bass at 2. The Jan Ray can produce this magic sound, and more. With warm, mellow lows, a sweet midrange, and vintage punch, you can easily add that classic touch to your sound. Crisp, sophisticated and with superb headroom, this nuanced overdrive pedal will transform your tone.
Full control over your sound
Wide tonal range. This pedal’s intuitive controls let you easily tweak its sound to fit your style. The gain control lets you choose how much overdrive you want. You can dial it back for a pushed clean tone or put it all in for a crunchy lead sound. Separate bass and treble controls let you fine tune the sound of the pedal to suit your setup, and a level control lets you set how loud you push the front of your amp. The Jan Ray also has an extra saturation trim pot at the top of the pedal. You can adjust this with a mini screwdriver for even finer control over the amount of overdrive. Reduce it for a cleaner sound or crank it up for a fuller, more saturated tone.
