Key Features
The T-Rex Replicator D'Luxe provides lush echo using real tape with a host of new features. Experience the most authentic tape echo pedal on the market making a triumphant return in a newly expanded deluxe format. Many pedals try and emulate the warm, rich sound qualities of tape echo, but none come even close to T-Rex's flagship delay unit. Digital, and even analog emulations can never quite nail the subtle nuances of real tape- that's why the Replicator uses multiple tape playback heads to deliver an authentic sound.
Nearly New: This product may have been opened for quality control purposes, returned by a customer, refurbished, or may have non-essential parts or software missing. Otherwise, the product operates as new. This is a great opportunity to buy a fully functioning product at a discounted price.

There are three tape playback heads total in the T-Rex Replicator D’Luxe- one for recording and two for playback. This means from input to output, your signal path is fully analog and using real tape delivers the warm, saturated sound and authentically rich delay that is craved by so many. The Short head is for slapback delay and can vary between 108-520mS, the Long head delivers more modern delays between 215-1000mS. You can even combine the two for a semi delay-room experience for the true sonic adventurers. The tap tempo is directly applied to the Long head, and is simply halved for the Short head. On top of this, the D'Luxe has been upgraded to optimise performance for reliable authenticity. The new motor suspension with belt drive makes for quieter operation and keeps out unwanted noise, while the new locking tape deck mechanism protects your components for a longer life-span. The sound of real tape, with a level of reliability vintage units can't compete with!
The detailed controls really let you deep dive into sculpting your dream echo. The left footswitch engages the effect, while the right triggers your tap tempo- perfect for when you want to quickly dial in how often each repetition occurs. In-between these switches are five knobs that offer intricate control over your sound. 'DLY Level' is basically your effect volume, letting you set the balance of echo vs your dry signal. 'Feedback' controls the number of repeats and can even veer into self-oscillation at extreme levels allowing you to create ethereal, crescendoing swells. 'Time' allows you to manually set how quickly the echo repeats. The final two smaller knobs 'Short' and 'Long' control the delay time for each playback head giving you total control over your echo.
