Studio Quality Compression

The OB.1 effects pedal features studio quality, transparent analogue compression that offers greater than 20dB of gain-compression. Designed to bring out the best characteristics of your amp and sound, the compressor preserves your attacks while smoothing out the overall signal to bring out the softer notes, creating a well-balanced tone. Its incredibly quiet analogue signal path, and high-quality, low-noise op amp allows you to deliver a high gain sustain without too much feedback or noise.

Clean Boost with Curves

The pedals clean boost comes with its own EQ curves to deliver a boost that not only add gain, but boost the high-end so it can cut through the mix without being bogged down by the low end. The OB.1 offers three boost types to choose from, allowing you which frequencies you want to add gain to, and adds an extra 10dB of full frequency, mid or treble boost when used with the compressor. Flick to the treble boost when using a guitar with humbuckers to add biting solos, or switch to a mid-boost when using single coil pickups to fatten them up.

The OB.1’s Curves a can be fine-tuned with the use of the internal dip switches. Adjust the treble boost corner frequency between 1.5kHz and 2Khz, whilst also adjusting the mid boost pick frequency between 800Hz and 2kHz.
