Key Features
The PRS Studio is a modern interpretation of the classic HSS guitar layout. It offers an extraordinary range of tones from its three pickups to serve as a true "do-anything" workhorse. From the fiery, kick of its bridge position 58/15 LT humbucker, to the scooped vintage sonics and spangly single coil musicality of PRS' proprietary Narrowfield pickups. Easily shaped through push/pull controls and a five-way switch, there's no limit to your creativity on the Studio.
But it isn't just versatile voicings on offer with the Core Studio, as its Pattern neck shape promotes super-comfortable riffing all over the fretboard. Its one-piece mahogany neck sits naturally in the palm, while a 10" rosewood fingerboard allows for easy chording and lead work over the top. PRS-designed hardware top off an already impressive package - with a patented tremolo system that provides smooth vibrato and exceptional stability, and Phase III locking tuners that aid tonal transfer, impeccable stability and overall resonance. And that's not all - there's a PRS premium hard case for secure transport too, so you're ready to roll as soon as you pick it up!

Craftsmanship at its finest. This guitar was made in PRS's legendary USA factory, meaning it benefits from outstanding attention to detail and luthier expertise. It's the same place where many professionals' guitars are made, so you can be sure that it plays like a dream. From the headstock to the strap button, every inch has been carefully designed, crafted, and perfected to bring you a shining model which is one of a kind.
They work hard. Delivering clear, punchy, articulate tone, the 58/15 LT and Narrowfield pickups will take your sound where it needs to go. Offering plenty of output but being well balanced tonally, they'll project your riffs with pristine clarity, whether you’re using lots of gain or none at all. You'll be unlocking heaps of sonic potential through these pickups. The Narrowfields are particularly unique, bridging the gap between single coil and humbucker. They are technically humbuckers, but pick up a smaller, more focused area of the string, giving them a tight, single coil-like twang - as well as noise-free humbucker crunch.
The bridge humbucker has the classic, high output voicing with more than enough bite, growl mixed with warmth, and balance. It'll make chords ring out like bells and give riffs unrivalled definition. Then there's the neck and middle pickups. Perfect for playing wailing lead lines and thickening chords up, they have a majestic voicing of their own. All pickups can also produce a crisp, punchy single coil sound through the dedicated push/pull tone controls and mini toggle switches. Together, these magnets will raise your riffs up to the sky.
No limits. With a smooth Pattern Thin mahogany neck at your disposal, you'll be able to play as fast and accurately as you like. Tonally, mahogany is warm, which adds a touch of richness and depth to each note you play. Each of the 22 frets will feel well within reach, and your playing will be smoother than ever. A coveted Indian rosewood fretboard takes the playability of this guitar further, offering a sublime surface on which you can create your finest riffs. And it also has a warm resonance for even more tonal beauty.
Protection for professionals. The sturdy hard case included with this world-class guitar will help keep it safe forevermore. One of PRS's finest hardshells, it'll make it easy to take your beloved guitar to gigs and on the road. After all, a guitar of such quality should be carried in nothing but the best and sturdiest case.
