And that's probably because it was them, way back in the '60s, who first mass-produced an 8-string model. So you can imagine, then, that in all that time, they've really mastered the art of producing sensational 8-string basses that delight the senses. This reimagined H8 - that first model they produced - gives you all of the hallmark quality of the original.
Double the strings means double the sound, so you can enjoy a bigger, ringing tone in your bass playing. Each standard string is matched with a string an exact octave higher. They're perfectly balanced with each other, and together deliver a full, commanding sound that brings texture and depth to whatever it is you're playing. Liquid-smooth playability
