The three channels (Clean, Crunch and Lead) offer an exceptional level of versatility for performers, and channel two and three have been altered and re-voiced to suit Van Halen's touring preferences.
On Clean you expect a bright and pristine tone with minimal noise, but also with a touch of dirt for a vintage-style character. Crunch has been spruced up with increased gain and an improved low-mid frequency definition, offering a blistering overdrive that features in Eddie's signature rhythm sections. And on channel three? Full flamethrower burn - perfect for erupting solos and searing leads!

Loaded with eight JJ ECC83S (12AX7) preamp valves and six high quality Shuguang 6L6 power valves, you can expect fierce overdriven tones, ultra-responsive dynamics and plenty of saturated high-gain attitude - trademark Van Halen sounds!
Eddie's Adjust Bias tour mod
Exclusive to the 100S head is a personal touch from Eddie himself, a bias port with an adjustable trim pot to set the voltage going to the tubes. This ensures you get the absolute best tone for any situation and saves tinkerers from having remove the amp chassis to access the circuit board.
