Alder is the wood of choice for ESP SN-1000HT. A popular material for guitar bodies, alder is light weight and provides relief for your shoulder, making it easy to rock for hours with this instrument. Tonally, alder is bright and clear and allows for clear resonance from the strings mounted through the body.
Pau ferro is a newer alternative to the classic rosewood fingerboards. A sustainably sourced wood, pau ferro is like wenge and rosewood in both appearance and tone. These characteristics complement the overall sound of the guitar in addition to providing a smooth, comfortable "U" shape platform for your fretting hand.
A deadly combination of pickups
Seymour Duncan is one of the best in the business for guitar pickups, so they know how to extract some fierce tone out of your strings. This 6-string is intended for chunky metal riffs and solos that seek to thrill your audience. To achieve this a Seymour Duncan Pegasus pickup is mounted at the bridge position. Harmonically rich, the Pegasus is medium wound and captures your top-end sparkle but doesn't lose the detail of chords, conversely it provides a rich bloom effect.
