The Edge 1 comes equipped with a singular DMT Design pickup. Despite only having one, it doesn’t mean this model’s power and sound isn’t incredible. This pickup delivers a beautifully rich and clean low-end, offering a wide range of depth to create amazing soundscapes. As the pickup is located at the bridge, this Dean bass produces a powerful tonality saturated in rich harmonics and expression. This model is perfect for playing a range of musical genres and styles, particularly excelling in hard rock and metal.

The lightweight nature of basswood ensures the Dean Edge 1 is the ultimate stage guitar, allowing players to wield it all night long without strain. Although light in weight, its basswood body delivers a full and balanced tone, packed with plenty of mid-range punch and dynamic for a versatile performance.
