Tama has worked extensively into finding a way to get the most out of their drum shells, discovering that the bearing edge is a vital part of how a drum can sound. For this reason on their Starclassic range, Tama has set a bearing edge of 2.5mm cut to a round collar, following the natural shape of the drum head. This creates a better fit between drum shell and drum head, maximising drum resonance helping to attain optimum drum sounds.
Tamo Ash Lacquer combined with gold hardware provides quality look
The most notable part of the Starclassic Walnut/Birch Gold Edition range is the eye-catching aesthetic.
