The tone hole sizes have been optimised which means that the intonation of this saxophone is better than ever. The Yamaha YAS875EXB Custom Alto Saxophone features a new 'lily' engraving which is hand engraved on every instrument, providing a sleek and professional appearance. It has been designed in collaboration with some of the world's most talented saxophonists including Nobuya Sugawa, Jean-Yves Fourmeau and Otis Murphy.
Unique Key Layout
The YAS875EXB Custom Alto Saxophone features a brand new key layout, giving players unrivalled comfort and making hand adjustments easy, without the stress. The front F key has changed shape and position to be closer to the left-hand palm keys. Both the left-hand table keys and right-hand side keys offer smoother playing, giving players confidence during a performance. It provides stress-free key work with low-register playability, offering the performer full expressive freedom.
Included Accessories
The YAS875EXB comes with a 4CM ebonite mouthpiece which is a highly recommended mouthpiece and is suggested by teachers and professionals alike. The mouthpiece is made from custom ebonite, and the shape of the tip has been modified for increased comfort and easier embouchure control. As well as this, the baffle and chamber have been re-designed for greater projection, as well as soft tonality. Also included is a case to protect the saxophone during transit.
