One of Seydel's key revelations is the use of stainless steel reeds. Not only do these reeds offer more stable tuning - even under extreme stress - but they're also resistant to any corrosion. These reeds are manufactured using fine-cut technology, optimised flatness, and have minimal tolerance between the tongues and the reed plates.

What does this mean for you? The Session Steel harmonica requires significantly less air while also producing a full, loud, and overtone-rich sound with a fast response.

Ergonomic design

To ensure you're comfortable with the Seydel harmonica, the front of the Session Steel boasts a lip-and-beard-friendly design. These ergonomic cover plates are made of stainless steel and are completely rounded at the mouthpiece to guarantee a comfortable experience. Thanks to every part of the harmonica being made from stainless steel, German steel, or ABS, it is completely insensitive to moisture.
