Mode Machines have created The 1995 Vintage Microphone for the vintage lover in us all. The classic design is based on microphones developed and designed in the 1950s. This ‘Rockabilly’ style aesthetic is one of the most iconic microphone designs in the history of music, associated with the rock n roll era. The 1955 Vintage Microphone features a cardioid pickup pattern and an extended frequency range (50Hz – 15kHz), ensuring you pick up every nuance of your source audio as it was intended. The cardioid pickup pattern and built in pop filter help to minimise plosives and sibilance, delivering an exceptional vocal performance that is also ideal for spoken word applications.
The vintage style and design of the microphone makes it ideal for stage performances, with a standard swivel (screw) adapter on the bottom for easy mounting. Designed primarily for speech and vocal performances, the 1955 includes an integrated power switch, which allows you to switch the microphone off when not in use, saving power as well as any accidental sound seeping through. The robust and high quality design features a female XLR output connection located on the bottom of the microphone, and even features a positionable neck for added convenience.
