The QU-Bit Aurora (12HP) is a spectral reverb with true stereo IO. The Aurora features a reverb algorithm and phase vocoder audio engine that allows for spectral transformations of the incoming sound. It's also possible to freeze the input signal in the time or frequency domain with the press of a button or gate input. In addition, the reverb time extends all the way to infinity at its highest setting.


Achieve everything from icy shimmers to ever-evolving echoes thanks to the unique circuit design and the phase vocoder audio engine which separate the input signal's time/pitch domains, unlike conventional reverb modules. This opens up a whole new tonal palette, allowing you to experiment and discover unique sounds and reverb styles. The Aurora Spectral Reverb module also features a built-in USB port which can be used to update the firmware, access advanced settings and even create alternate instruments (available in the future).

The unique architecture of the Aurora gives it a truly distinctive character, utilising a phase vocoder audio engine to separate the input signal’s time/pitch domains. This allows you to blur the signals and create time-stretched tails and metallic-style effects. It is the ultimate playground for sonic experimentation.

Front-panel USB port – update firmware, access settings and more

Complete with the Qu-Bit Aurora is a compact flash drive that’s designed to be used to update firmware, install alternate instruments and configure advanced settings. For future firmware updates, all you can to do is place the firmware file on the provided flash drive and plug it into the module. You can also use the USB drive to configure various settings including blur states, freeze functions and much more.
