A miniature electric guitar

The Risa LP might be based on the electric guitar, but its small ukulele size makes it perfect for travelling musicians. Go from gig to gig with ease - the tenor size promises to make life on the road stress-free. Plus, it's a dream to play. The body, neck, and fingerboard are made from mahogany, delivering a classic, warm, mellow tone with sweet highs and a firm low end. Effortless playability is then offered by the sleek, comfortable neck, whilst the fingerboard offers a smooth surface for easy position changes and note bends. The hardware is also designed to look like an electric guitar, from its aluminium control knobs and geared tuners to the fixed bridge.

Small in size, big in sound

To complete its electric guitar style, the LP ukulele features a set of handmade Risa humbuckers. They deliver powerful tones with plenty of punch and can be easily controlled via independent volume and tone controls. The 3-way selector then lets you switch between the humbuckers or blend them together. When in the neck position, the humbucker provides bright, crisp tones that are perfect for searing leads, while the neck humbucker is suited for chugging chords and creating thundering lows.
