Despite Rickenbacker's overwhelming popularity with the 360, they set out to break all the rules. Its offset hollow body, and all Maple construction and Hi-Gain pickups attracted the likes of The Beatles, The Who and The Byrds, who would all take it to mainstream popularity and feature its signature sound in their songs.

Rickenbacker, unlike many other companies, haven't had to adapt their guitars much to new eras. The 360 has an unconventional shape but the contoured body is designed carefully to not interrupt the sound holes or your natural playing style. The tone knobs allow you to adjust the sound to your own specifications, but there's also a knob for Rickenbacker's own presets which get you straight to some of their signature styles. For the classic 60s sound that inspired generations of popular music, the Rickenbacker 360 is the only way to go.
