Mahogany Body

The Ibanez SR300E features a mahogany body, which produces a range of tones that are exceptionally well-balanced and offer plenty of depth. Creating a warm, soft, and fat tonality, the mahogany body brings a little grind and bite for added roughness, perfect for a wide range of playing styles and genres.

Maple/Walnut Neck & Jatoba Fingerboard

The Ibanez SR300E features a 5-piece maple and walnut neck that offers comfort, stability, and is more resistant to warping than classic 1-piece necks. The maple keeps the tone tight and bright, whilst the walnut adds a sonically pleasing earthy sound. Additionally, the neck is paired with a jatoba fingerboard which enhances the overall tone of the guitar with projection, offering a strong, hard character which adds extra punch and a subtle amount of brightness.

PowerSpan Dual Coil Pick-Ups

The Ibanez SR300E features a set of PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups, which are designed with exposed stainless steel pole pieces to deliver a high-output with exceptional clarity. The PowerSpan pickups offer an enhanced response and a strong signal to create a tone rich with harmonics and dynamic expression.

3-Band EQ with 3-Way Power Tap Switch

The Ibanez SR300E is equipped with 3-band EQ and a 3-way power tape switch. The design enables players to shape and tweak their tone with maximum control, providing the ability to mould every nuance of your sound. The 3-way power tap switch offers three different tones, from humbucking sounds and single coil notes, to a low-end enhanced single coil option, creating an incredibly versatile instrument that will keep up with any playing style.
