Key Features

The Godin Session has a HSS pickup arrangement. This is regarded as the most versatile pickup combination and can cover both humbucker and single coil tones, from powerful rock rhythm sounds through to funky chordal cleans, jazzy mellow warmth, and biting solo sounds. The bridge pickup can be split into a single coil via the push/pull tone control, giving you access to both single coil and humbucker bridge-position sounds. This powerful pickup is complemented by a pair of Godin GS2 single coils and lets you adapt the guitar's sound to almost any genre.
The Session Guitar features a Canadian Laurentian basswood body that is tonally versatile, incredibly resonant, and lightweight for a comfortable performance. The basswood body adds softness and flow to the tone, giving it a defined dynamical range with muscular mids. The Godin Session's double cutaway provides added comfort, and easier access to higher frets.
The Godin Session features a maple neck that offers an incredibly comfortable and smooth feel when navigating the fingerboard. The maple neck produces bright tones with good clarity, while the rosewood fingerboard provides the richer warm tones for a versatile playing experience.
Godin Guitars are a Canadian company founded by Robert Godin out of La Patrie in Quebec. Godin manufacture out of six factories in Canada and the US, and then ship around the world. They are known to provide guitars under a range of different brands, yet they have since carved a name for themselves with their own range of electric and acoustic guitars.
