Tonal flexibility is essential in a jazz-style guitar. The ES-275 is ideal for this, meaning you'll never be held back when it comes to fine tuning your style and sound. MHS humbucking pickups and an MTC Premiere control system with two volumes and two tones give the player lots of choice when it comes to the overall voice of the guitar. This means the ES-275 is more than capable of other styles, too. Murky blues tones, jangly country rock, and funky soul voices are all comfortably within reach. Furthermore, the humbucking pickups are also designed to reduce unwanted feedback. You can be sure you'll only be hearing the notes you intend to play.

Fantastic acoustic warmth is generated by a semi-hollowbody. This allows you to produce a wonderful richness in harmony and brightness in tone with ease. When plugged in, a thermally engineered chambered maple centreblock creates a scintillating, electronic sound. "F" shaped sound holes in the maple and poplar body also give the guitar a beautiful, natural resonance. This makes practice in places where noise might be an issue easy.
