018 Concert Body

The 018 concert body is significantly smaller than others guitars, providing a big sound in a comfortable design. Built with a tapered waist and shorter scale, as well as a lighter string tension, the concert shape is perfect for in the studio and on stage. Fingerpickers will love with the clarity and precision of this exceptionally designed guitar body.

Sitka Spruce & Sapele

The Ego Icon Acoustic Guitar features a beautiful sitka spruce top that offers a broad dynamic range and a crisp articulation. Sitka spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops as it accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking. This stunning tonewood is contrasted with sapele back and sides, which delivers a consistent and balanced tone with an excellent top-end shimmer. This stunning combination of tonewoods not only provides you with a beautiful guitar, but also offers a great combination of tones.

Mahogany Neck With Rosewood Fingerboard

The fingerboard is made from rosewood which is smooth on the fingers and allows for fast styles. The neck is made from mahogany which is strong and reliable for long term use.
