The Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Distortion Pedal is the result of a tireless pursuit to capture the fuzzbox sound used by Jimi Hendrix during his live shows at Woodstock, Berkeley and Fillmore East. A sound completely different to any other pedal in Hendrix's arsenal, the distortion pedal produced a snarling far more aggressive, biting tone, which has been replicated in this limited edition Fuzz Face pedal.

The Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face has been designed by pouring over different customised circuit designs Hendrix used over the years, and narrowed down to a version of the Ocatavio Fuzz without the octave up circuitry. After tweaking these designs, the Fuzz Face Distortion pedal manages to produce the same tone used by Jimi, in a limited edition, classic Fuzz Face housing with hand wired components.
