Designed with discrete transistor technology and meticulously tuned circuitry, the Scuzz box delivers powerfully singing fuzz effects with the ability to add a gnarl with the flick of a switch. Inspired by iconic fuzz pedals from the 60s, the enhanced circuitry and high performance design is perfect for both modern guitarists and players who love vintage pedals.

Powerful Controls

The Scuzz Box features a range of powerful controls to affect major parameters of the fuzz effect. Fuzz, deep, volume and tone controls allow incredible tweaking to the pedals sound, allowing you to adjust the effect to suit your playing style. The pedal also features a switch that allows you two select between two powerful fuzz affects, while another switch help to keep the pedal clean when used with other pedals.

Fuzz

The fuzz control can be used to make the signal overdriven, dirty, and massive by dialling in the amount of fuzz produced. By adding more fuzz into the signal, the pedal increases the amount of distortion and sustain it produces, while decreasing the amount of fuzz provides excellent dynamics and pick sensitivity.

Deep

Deep controls the amount of lows the pedal produces, influencing the overall dynamics of the effect to create massively fat tones or overdriven sounds with a fast attack. This control is perfect for matching up your guitar, amp and pedal, allowing them to harmonise together. When dialled to a low setting, the pedal produces a tight bass response, while a higher setting provides booming bass, overload with endless sustain.

Volume

The volume control adjusts the level of output the pedal has, allowing you to dial in as much fuzz as you desire without affecting the volume of the guitar or amp. The pedal features a massive output that will deliver an incredible loud sound.

Tone

The tone provides a natural high-cut control with a wide range, allowing you to boost or cut the pedals high frequencies.

Scuzz/Fuzz Switch

This switch allows you two select between two scuzz mode and fuzz mode. In fuzz mode, the pedal delivers a high dynamic, articulate fuzz effect, which lets each note be head and cleans up nicely with the guitars volume control. In scuzz mode, the pedal provides a unique, biting sound that has an unpredictable, Velcro-type gate fuzz to deliver gnarly, buzzing tones and ripping textures. A special gating effect causes sustaining notes to die quickly, with no residual nose, while providing a mercurial and oscillating sound with an 8-bit feel to it.

Buffer Switch

The buffer switch is used to eliminate any unwanted oscillations that may occur when using other effects in front of the Scuzz Box pedal. This features helps to retain the effects clarity while also eliminating passive signal loss in long cables.
