The Artiphon Instrument 1 allows you to use a range of different playing styles to achieve a whole plethora of sound options. Players can either tap like keys, bow like a violin or strum like a guitar depending on their preference. Its innovative design features touch-sensitive interfaces that can be played with a range of techniques, delivering every nuance of your style.
Keys/Drum Pad: When used horizontally, the twelve pads allow users to make beats and trigger loops, or switch to the 72 pressure-sensing keys in six stacked octaves for playing melodies and chords.
Violin: When used like a violin, users can play without frets and achieve notes like a violin, double bass or slide guitar. In addition, players can also rock their finger back and forth to add vibrato to their notes.
Guitar: Finally, when used as a guitar, players can use the fingerboard and bridge functions to strum and pick chords, scale and riffs. This innovative design is equipped with pressure and velocity-sensitivity which add nuance and expressiveness to your playing style.
As well as providing a versatile choice of tones and styles, the Artiphon Instrument 1 can connect to a variety of devices including smartphones, tablets, and computers, along with MIDI devices.
