The Beat Boy can help you to develop your sense of rhythm, with rhythm patterns for every genre including 8-beat, 16-beat, pop, funk, reggae and dance beats. Jam along with the patterns, or use them to refine your riff ideas. The volume is adjustable, so you can always be sure of hearing the beat over your guitar, and the LCD display shows the drums actually being struck for a unique visual element. Adjust the tempo intuitively using the tap tempo feature, or specify it as a numeric value for greater accuracy.

You can save on the number of things you have to pack in your bag before going to rehearsals or gigs, thanks to the Beat Boy's built-in tuner and overdrive and distortion effects. Get a classic hard rock sound without having to set up multiple units.

Record and Playback Immediately

Beat Boy helps you to improve your playing by allowing you to record your guitar or bass sound and listen back to it immediately. Loop a portion of the recording for detailed analysis or for further practice by using the loop as a backing pattern. USB connectivity means you can load recorded sounds onto your computer as WAV files and edit them using DAW software, or load audio tracks from your computer into Beat Boy and use them as backing tracks. (The Beat Boy supports WAV f files only (44.1kHz/16-bit monaural or stereo), and the drum machine does not function while a stereo WAV file is being played back.)
